Hendricks Families,
Seemed a little more like January than April this week! Hopefully warmer weather is around the corner!
Don't forget that Monday, April 8, 2024, is an e-learning day due to the solar eclipse. Students brought their work and iPads home today! Students will have five days to complete any assignments. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions! We look forward to having everyone back on Tuesday! Don't forget to return your iPad. Students also should have brought home glasses to safely enjoy the solar eclipse!
I-Learn is right around the corner. Students began working on their practice tests today. Students in grades 3-5 will begin testing on Monday, April 15th! It is important for students to be in attendance during testing!
I want to give a HUGE thank you to our PTO for several purchases they have made to support staff and students at Hendricks. They have purchased math and reading manipulatives for first grade, a new speaker for our celebration squad, games for our reunification kits and playground equipment for fifth grade! We appreciate all of their hard work and dedication to providing resources to help make Hendricks an amazing place! We are lucky to have such an amazing group in our corner!
Have a great weekend!

Transportation
Dismissal Change Effective 10-16-2023
In an effort to eliminate the wait time after school Hendricks will be reorganizing dismissal at the end of each day. Students going to the Boys/Girls Club after school, will be dismissed to buses at 2:18. They will be transported to the Club and the buses will return to HES. Once all of the buses arrive back at HES, the remaining students will load to go home. This will delay dismissal 5-10 minutes each day. This process will begin on Monday, October 16, 2023. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions! Thanks for understanding!
Please be sure to check Infofinder at http://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=SCS5QTZ7SAUC for your bus number and bus stop information.
We are asking that any requests for a transportation change be submitted to the office no later than 1:30 pm daily. A reminder that requests must be consistent throughout the week, meaning that the pick up and/or drop off address remains the same all week.
