Family Newsletter
April 12, 2024
A Note From Dr. Hooks
Dear Hyde-Addison ES Families,
Happy Spring Break! We look forward to welcoming all of our students back to school on April 22, 2024. If there are no pertinent updates, the newsletter will resume on April 26, 2024.
Thank you to all of the families who have reenrolled for the 2024-2025 school year. As of this morning, our enrollment for the upcoming school year was at 40%. This is short of our 60% April benchmark. As we have begun making wait list offers, please be mindful that reenrolling now will significantly support maintaining small class sizes. More information is shared in the newsletter. There has been several updates to the district process.
Note from DCPS:

Application translations are available in English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Amharic. The application will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 6. For more information, visit here. Apply today here.

The reviews are uniformly excellent, and we are lucky to have them! Classes will be from 3:30 To 5:00 pm and students will attend twice a week on both Mondays and Wednesdays.
The cost of this enrichment will be $40/session with semester-long contracts (semesters have 14 sessions); however, scholarships may be available. Please email RAllauca@EasySpanish123.com to discuss financial options. There are no make-up classes or refunds.
