Read Across America Week was born in 1998 by the National Education Association. Throughout the years, it has become America's largest celebration of reading. Read Across America celebrates a nation of diverse readers and academically engaged students while working to build cultural awareness, encourage empathy, and emphasize acceptance.

Super DAC News: All District Advisory Council / Committee Triannual Update
The CVUSD’s Parent Outreach Program is proud to present the March 2024 online event for Spanish-speaking parents, "The Importance of the Parent-Child Relationship for a Solid Foundation in Their Future." The event's presenter is Tony Orozco, BS, CPDT, an international speaker. This cost-free event will take place on Thursday, March 7th from 6pm - 8pm online via zoom, with English translation available.

This is an in-person event on Thursday, March 14th at 6pm in Century Academy's Multipurpose Room (33 Greta Street, Thousand Oaks).
