EBC Family,

Please continue to pray for our Student Minister Search Committee made up of Brian Denton, Brent Miller, Molly Hollingsworth, Courtney Freeborn, Steve Ralston, and Justin Mckeown. I expect they will have news for us in the next few weeks. Also pray for our Personnel Committee. Our Ministry Assistant, Stephenie Bunce, and her family are moving later this Spring. Our Personnel Committee will be considering the best use of our current resources - whether to hire a replacement for Stephenie or direct those dollars to a different ministry area. The Committee is made up of Bryan Sperle, Courtney Freeborn, Braeden Parks, Scott Long, Bernard Boeckman, Shelly Stockton and Molly Hollingsworth. They would be glad to hear from you if you have ideas about this decision.

Sunday Night Studies have been well attended and initiated lots of good discussions about the Bible. I’m grateful to serve a Church Family that values the Word of God enough to continue to grow in their knowledge of it. If you haven’t attended regularly on Sunday nights, join us this week at 6:00! A group of ladies continue to study the book of James upstairs in the Youth Wing, while the rest of us continue our study through the first part of the Old Testament - we’ll be in the book of 1 and 2 Kings this week.

Senior Adult Branson Trip

April 15-17, 2024

Cost: $180.00 per person for hotel double occupancy. $200.00 per person for hotel single occupancy.

The trip includes two nights hotel accommodations , two free breakfasts at your hotel, one show and one attraction. Make your payment by Sunday, March 10, 2024. Call the church office to sign up. For questions please contact Debbie Flaming or Mary Ralston.

Women's Retreat

Hi Ladies! I would love for you to join us as we go, get filled up, hear Jen Wilkin teach, be refreshed, so that we can come back and pour out into our homes and church. Make sure when you register to click "in person" and mark that you're with Emmanuel Baptist Weatherford. Please let me know you registered so I can get our group organized to travel to Falls Creek and back together. Do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. Women of The Word Bible Study

Carey Carter is leading a Bible study over the book of James upstairs in the Youth Wing on Sunday evenings. We will learn how to systematically study the Bible in a way that develops your relationship with God and His truths.
