Read Across America Week Fun!
This afternoon, several students had their names drawn for a variety of prizes after submitting tickets during Read Across America week last week. A few lucky students even got the chance to pie some teachers in the face! Those pies went to Mrs. Kempker, Mrs. Weider, Mrs. Luebbert, Mrs. Fitzpatrick, and Mrs. Burns!
Thank you for carving out some extra time last week to read with your students. Our hope is they develop and always hold onto a love of reading. While we may not always have tickets and prizes, we still encourage you to carve out some time to help foster that love of reading too!
More information about prizes and winners will be shared in the coming weeks!
Chick Hatching!
Several classes got to watch baby chicks hatch this week. It has been so fun to have some furry friends in our classrooms for the week!
Kids Heart Challenge
We are continuing to raise money for the American Heart Association! Envelopes are due back March 22, 2024. Please have your child print an online donation report and place it in the donation envelope along with any other donations, or be sure to raise money online with three quick steps:
Download the AHA Schools app or visit heart.org/Schools to register.
Help your student complete Finnโs Mission.
Raise funds online, check/cash, or both to help kids with special hearts - like Finn.
Any student who is able to raise $50 or more in donations will get the opportunity to play dodgeball vs. the staff and sign their name on the new banner we will earn this year. Good Luck!
Your generous support of this program is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Matt Albers
