We want you to get involved in whichever ways work best for you!
To stay up to date on meetings and events, please join us on our PimaEngage Honors and PimaEngage PTK pages! We use these spaces to house information about upcoming events and projects as well as to share news items and event pictures. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
Check out our Honors and PTK Club meeting recordings in Panopto. (You will need to log in with your MyPima credentials to access these.) Meeting notes are available as well.

Ongoing Opportunities
Volunteer Opportunity: RISE Planning Meetings + Help on Your Own Time
R.I.S.E. (Resources, Information, Services, and Education) for Homeless Vets is in its 8th year hosted by the Pima Honors Program! This annual event gathers clothing, toiletries, non-perishable food items, community resources and information, and a fresh meal provided to all in need. The event will be held at the Downtown Campus over Spring Break, and weekly meetings will be held leading up to the event to plan and gather resources. Many hands are needed to make this event a success and plenty of opportunities for volunteering (virtual and in person) and leadership are available from now until the date of the event.
Meeting schedule TBD (check back for details here and on PimaEngage soon). To be kept in the loop, contact student leader Jaymes Grace (jgrace2@mail.pima.edu).
Volunteer Opportunity: Pima Love Notes
Pima Love Notes wants you to join us and spread kindness with your creativity!
History
Pima Love Notes started in Spring 2020 as a safe and virtual volunteer activity with weekly Zoom crafting hours. Students handcrafted and collected notes of encouragement and delivered them to senior care homes across Tucson and Southern Arizona. These notes of kindness and love lifted the spirits of volunteers, isolated seniors, and nursing staff during the hardest times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Current Project
Meet new friends and relax with us while you create notes of kindness and goodwill to help lift the spirits of others. We would like to expand to serve other demographics and share notes with everyone and anyone that could use some encouragement and gratitude.
Santa Cruz Center (Nogales) Meetings Every Friday!
Students who attend the Santa Cruz Center can meet up every Friday from 10am - 12pm in the lobby to make notes. Supplies provided! Contact pcc-santacruzcounty@pima.edu to learn more, or RSVP on PimaEngage.
Tucson Meetings
Create your own schedule! Contact Logan at lbradford2@mail.pima.edu for more information.
Set Your Own Schedule
There are options to make Love Notes on your own time at home for service hours as well as crafting stations in many Pima libraries and Student Life rooms. This is also a great activity to do with friends or kiddos!
Looking for more ways to help? We also need volunteers to collect and deliver notes. Please reach out to Kyley with questions: ksegers@pima.edu
