MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Westwood Families,
We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support and appreciation you have shown our staff during Staff Appreciation Week. Your kindness and generosity have truly touched our hearts and lifted our spirits.
The outpouring of love from our students and families was incredible. From heartfelt notes and beautiful artwork to thoughtful gestures and words of encouragement, each act of appreciation reminded us of the wonderful community we are privileged to serve. Your support makes a world of difference and motivates us to continue striving for excellence in educating your children.
A special thank you goes to our amazing PTA, who went above and beyond by providing delicious treats throughout the week. Your efforts in organizing and delivering these treats were greatly appreciated by everyone on our team. It’s these acts of kindness that create a warm and nurturing environment at Westwood Elementary.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and for making Staff Appreciation Week a truly memorable experience. We are grateful to be part of such a dedicated and caring community.
Warm regards,
Ms. Jennie Mikels
Principal, Westwood Elementary School

PARENT INPUT FOR
24/25 SCHOOL YEAR
Dear Parents,
As we gear up for the upcoming school year, your insights into the optimal learning environment for your child are invaluable to us.
If you'd like to share your thoughts, please take a moment to complete the form below (one form per child). The link will remain active until 3 p.m. on May 20, 2024. Your input, combined with feedback from current teachers, performance records, behavior records, and special programs, will significantly inform our decision-making process.
Rest assured, each student will be carefully and thoughtfully placed. However, it's important to clarify that while we appreciate your input, we are unable to accommodate specific teacher requests. Our aim is to foster fair and inclusive learning environments where every student can excel academically and socially.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we collaborate to ensure the most enriching educational journey for your child.
Warm Regards,
Jennie Mikels
Principal
