STATE & DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS HAPPENING NOW
We ask for your help in preparing your students for these assessments by having them well rested and in school daily. Sending in a healthy snack is also a great idea!
(District testing for K-2 is listed in the monthly calendars below. Teachers can share the specific times and dates within the week for these assessments if you have specific questions.)
Appointments before or after school are greatly appreciated. Students who miss their assessments each day must make up the test at a later time, causing an additional loss of instructional time. We are making every effort to focus our instruction on supporting students with mastery of their grade-level standards, so attendance is crucial.
Also, please note that we will not be calling students out of testing each day, as it disrupts the environment and our students. Please plan accordingly.
Again, thank you for partnering with us!

GOOD THINGS GROW HERE
Congratulations to this group of students who received recognition for being a great example of what it means to be a PVE Pronghorn. These students were caught either modeling a school-wide expectation or showing ownership for their learning. Way to be #PronghornStrong!
YEARBOOK CONTEST WINNER
First of all, thank you to the 70+ submissions for the 23-24 PVE yearbook cover contest. This was a very difficult decision to make as there were SO MANY great options to choose from. However, we had to narrow the decision down to one with the help of our staff and the students.
Congratulations to Rachel Pace, 5th grade, for being selected by the students to have her submission chosen for this year's cover. We are so excited to see this amazing art grace the PVE yearbook cover that will be coming soon!
DUE NOW: PARENT INPUT FORM FOR 2024-2025

Many factors are included in placement decisions, and we appreciate your input in helping us make an optimum placement for your child. Use the button below to complete the electronic form by April 15. One form is required per student.
* I understand that completion of this form does not guarantee placement in a specific classroom and that at the end of the placement process, the building principal will be responsible for the final assignment.

Need To Make A Change In How Your Child Gets Home? Checking Out a Student?
Please get in touch with the office before 3:00 for any last-minute changes at the end of the day, so we have plenty of time to communicate with staff members. (If preplanned, please email both the teacher and office.)
If you are coming in at the end of the day to check out a student, please note we will not call students down after 3:45 pm. They are already cleaning up and transitioning for release at the end of the day.
Thank you for being so understanding!
