Those students with no referrals in April will get to participate in some fun activities on April 30th!

Student council is sponsoring an ABC Countdown for the end of the school year! This will begin on April 25th and last until May 31st.

Thank you to the Galesburg Public School Foundation for donating books to all 2nd grade students!

CUSD #205 is participating in “Shine in #205” for the 2023-2024 school year. The program is aimed to provide recognition for district employees who go the extra mile for students in #205. Each month there will be two staff members selected from the nominations. Parents, Guardians, Co-Workers, Community members are all welcome to nominate a CUSD

All elementary schools will offer an incoming Kindergartener Information Night Monday, April 15, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Incoming Kindergarten families are invited to visit their student(s) school and have the opportunity to visit classrooms and other key locations in the building. If you have questions about what school your student will be attending, please contact the CUSD #205 Registrar at 309-973-2109. All Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the current year to enroll.

Required Documents (can be brought to Open House)

• Birth Certificate
• Illinois State Health Physical and proof of up-to-date vaccinations
• Proof of Residency

Current Bright Futures students do not need to provide the documents listed above.

This for current 4th grade students who will be 5th grade students next year!
