Las Positas Updates
3/01/24 Volume 3 (30)
📚🌟 Sayonara, February! Aloha, March! 🌟📚
Hello Las Positas Lions,
March is here, and we're leaping into it with a bucket load of energy! Let's bid adieu to February and give a big, warm welcome to this month of magic and mischief!
Get ready for some seriously fun Read Across America activities! 🎉 From wild story time sessions to crafty book-inspired adventures, we're turning the pages of excitement up to eleven! Unfortunately, due to rain forecast, Booknic will be postponed to a later date.
So, grab your kiddos and let's dive into the wonderful world of books together! 📖✨ Let's make March a month to remember, filled with giggles, imagination, and endless stories!
For the month of March, we celebrate the IB profile attribute of being open-minded. This means we critically appreciate our own cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others. We seek and evaluate a range of points of view, and we are willing to grow from the experience.
If you have been following tech news, you know that AI is going to impact how we do things. Let's be open minded about the various changes coming, but let's also be knowledgeable about how to prepare our children. Here's an article on "What Is Age-Appropriate Use of AI? 4 Developmental Stages to Know About" by Arianna Prothero.
Catch your child in the act of being open-minded. Add it to facebook, instagram, or X. Let us know in the office and we'll give your child a pride ticket.
Have a wonderful weekend!
