NUGGET VISTING PRE-K ON TUESDAY!
At this rate, with all of the animals that have come into our classrooms....I am guessing next year we will have Classroom Pets like hippos, giraffes, and zebras!
On a serious note, this is one of the items I was proud that our teachers in the elementary grades took on this year: either a classroom pet or plants/flowers. It is a wonderful way to teach responsibility, patience and care at such a young age.
We had a young student get up super early on Tuesday because it was his day to feed the pet. Little things like that matter!
RE-ENROLLMENT FOR 2024-2025
Re-enrollment has been sent to you via FACTs. Please re-enroll quickly so that we can plan on some budgetary items for next year. Reminder for our PreK / Kindergarten classes to re-enroll ASAP.
One thing we did last year was have an incentive for early "re-enrollees". Therefore, for ALL students (PreK though 8) if you re-enroll before April 30, your student(s) name will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win the following items:
***(2) dress down days
Tuition rates and the enrollment link can be found on the school webpage.
**In addition, we will again be offering the student-favorite IXL Summer Study where students will log hours in IXL to "stay fresh" on their studies in order to obtain incentives when they return. IXL will be open for those students who are enrolled. Information will be coming soon.
Our March winner for the Pre-Enrollment incentive is the Spain Family!
CLASSROOM TREATS FOR ALL
A "Friend of the School" who wished to remain anonymous took her weekend and made separate candy bags for each student in our school. Thank you so much for that kind gesture....you know who you are!
BULLYING POLICY
We have placed on line a bullying policy for HCS that will go into effect immediately. You can find information on our website under the "Current Students" Tab. You can also see it in the attachment below.
Of course, if you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out. This is a "fluid" policy that can (and should) change over time.
