Dear Families,
Students have been hard at work here at MJT! We are approaching the last third of the school year, and I've seen so much growth in each and every grade level. Thank you for helping your child to participate in our school spirit week! Students were so proud to show off their awesome outfits each day!
Over the next few weeks, please be on the lookout for information to come home regarding our "One Book, One School" Program. The title that we've selected for this year is Friendship According to Humphrey, by Betty Birney. Each student will receive their own copy, along with a reading schedule. Fun and engaging activities relating to the story will take place here at school each week!
Upcoming Dates and Reminders:
*Beginning Monday 3/11, students will be participating in outside P.E. class whenever the weather permits. Please make sure your student is dressed accordingly.
- Report cards will be sent home in your child's folder on Friday, March 15.
- Only clear water is allowed in our classrooms. Please no juice, lemonade, or gatorade in the classrooms. These are allowed for lunch.
- Dates for Screenings:
- PreK May 8th and 9th
- Kindergarten May 15th and 16th (PreK students will NOT have school on these days)
- You will be contacted to schedule a time for your child to come in with you for their screening.
- Our second visit by author Rachel Vogel will be Thursday 3/28.
- Spring Break: 3/29-4/7. No school for students
