A Note From Your Principal

In March, our preschool and kindergarten classes welcomed Spring by attending a field trip to Franklin Park Conservatory and visiting the butterfly garden! We also completed a book character bracket in honor of National Reading Month and voted for our schools favorite character: RAINBOW FISH!


April brings lots of excitement and more opportunities to extend our learning experiences outdoors. Ask your child's teacher about their outdoor learning activity each week! Our school will be celebrating NAEYC's Week of the Young Child this month as well. Keep an eye out for family involvement opportunities the week of 4/8!


Cubby Spring Cleaning! Don't forget to update your child's cubby clothes as needed. We suggest dressing in layers since mornings will remain chilly. Pro Tip: keep a 'school jacket' in your child's cubby as we transition seasons!

Earth Day Ladybug Release & Community Day

Our classes will be celebrating Earth Day by releasing ladybugs. Dress your child in black and red or anything with ladybugs on it that you may have. We can’t wait to share photos with you.

Speech and Occupational Therapy Consults - optional sign up link below; register by 4/18!

The early childhood intervention team of McKibben and Monte addresses the needs of the whole child, including speech and language development, social and emotional regulation, fine motor skills, and feeding skills. See indicator attachments to help answer questions/suggestions.

Family Referral Bonus

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!

Illness/Vacation Absences

Please use the Links2Home App to mark your child absent if they are not attending RSG for the day or before/after care. Parents may also email, message in links2home, or call the school for absences as well.
