Dear GMS Families,

We had a great week last week and the first day of state testing for 6th grade went really smoothly! We were also excited to celebrate one of our own teachers, Amelia Eggert, as she was named a top-3 finalist for first year teacher of the year in Pickens County! Congratulations, Ms. Eggert! Please continue to encourage your child to finish this school year strong and to do their best on the state assessments we have coming up. We appreciate your support!

Aaron Serina, Keightley West, Addison Turner, Luke Bernstein, and Gracie Brewer, a few sixth grade students at GMS, went to a local retirement home this weekend to sing and play instruments for the residents. It was a very sweet event that they worked hard to organize.
