State testing continues this week for students in English 10, English 9, and Geometry.
Students taking the test need to have a charged chromebook and plan to report to their testing locations first thing (you can check www.rtischeduler.com to determine your testing room).
Students are expected to meet the testing behavior expectations and will be rewarded for doing so! We are excited to bring back Chat, Chew, and Chill and make it bigger! Ask your teachers for more information.

Wrestling
The Wildcats wrestling team will be starting offseason practice after school on Tuesday April 23. Practice will be at Barton Junior high School from 4pm until about 5:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the remainder of the school year. Any boys and girls interested in joining the wrestling team should stop by Coach Townsend’s room - 1417 - in the math hallway or email him expressing interest in joining. Anyone interested who is currently in a spring sport can still sign up to join the program. Wrestling is a winter sport that takes place from November through February, and it is an Arkansas Activities Association varsity sport for both boys and girls. El Dorado is currently a 5A program, which is the second highest classification in wrestling. The program is coming off of its most successful season yet, with its first individual state champion this past season. We would love to have more student-athletes be a part of the program and continue to build off a great season.
Track Tryouts
There will be Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys track tryouts on May 6th and May 7th after school. You must have a valid physical to try out. Tryouts will be located at EHS or the track dependent on weather. If the tryouts are at the track there will be bus transportation. Make sure that you bring workout clothes with you.
