Principal's Message
Dear Eccles Families and Caregivers,
This is a great opportunity to say thank you to you! As we approach spring break, I want to thank you for taking care of your kids and partnering with us. We are looking forward to seeing all of you next week at conferences. Thank you for signing up! Use the link below.
You may have also noticed this week that Mr. Bowman was holding PE classes under the secondary covered area and the student staging area for car pick-up was under the gazebo. This week we had ProSound onsite installing new audio and video equipment in our gymnasium. Thank you to our community for passing the bond! Your financial support continues to improve our school and the student experience.
On Friday, our certified staff will engage in professional development in the morning before dedicating their time to grading and progress reporting in preparation for conferences next week. We wish you a beautiful three day weekend!
Sincerely,
Kelly

Updates From the Health Room
LOST & FOUND
Our clothes rack is filling up and Spring Break is near. Please stop by and check the rack for any of your child's missing stuff (clothes, hats, water bottles, etc).
CLOTHES FOR KIDS
Accidents and injuries happen, and our health room utilizes donated clothes to help our students in need. If you have extra items that your child has outgrown, they're in good condition, and you'd like to pass it on to the school, we would be so grateful. Here are the items we have an increased need for right now:
- Boys sweats & pants (sizes 6-12)
- Girls leggings (sizes 6-12)
- Boys underwear (sizes 6/XS & 7-8/S-M)
- Girls underwear (sizes 4-8)
- Shoes (any clothes-toed, tennis shoes or sneakers, boys & girls)

Update from Mrs. Adams
Hello from the library!
Any library books overdue by 30 days or more will be marked 'Lost' on March 13th. Notices will be sent via email. Lost books incur a 'book replacement fee' on your child's account. If the book is found, there is no cost. Please just return the book as soon as possible. Books can be returned during conferences. There are library book return crates in each hallway. Reach out to Mrs. Adams with questions: marlena.adams@canby.k12.or.us
Thank you for helping take care of our school library books!
CARE Award Nominations
Each month, Canby School District and the Canby Kiwanis Club will highlight a different school in our district and will recognize a staff member from that school with the CARE Award. Eccles will be highlighted during the month of May. So, if you know of an Eccles staff member who has made a difference in your life, the life of a child you know, or in the community, please consider nominating them for the CARE Award.
