Our Spring Term comes to an end today, and what a way to wrap it up. I was treated to a very special Egyptian theatre performance by our amazing Year 3/4 children. They were simply amazing, with many showing real stage potential.

Meanwhile in school, it's been pupil progress meetings for our teachers. This is where we look through individual pupil work samples and check the progress being made. I've been blown away with so much progress evident in books and confident teachers who know the children inside and out.

Have a wonderful Easter break everyone, and we'll see you all back in school on Monday 8th April.

Team ApRo have been working incredibly hard to upgrade our Library and we're having a special launch event on 17th April from 2:30pm until 4pm. The Scholastic Book Fair will be in school, bring over 200 titles. All books will be on a 3 for 2 offer, so an ideal opportunity to add to your home library. Every book purchased means new books for our school library too!

Talk is really important for all learners in school and we know that our children are exposed to lots of exciting learning opportunities, both at home and at school. To help develop speaking and listening skills and knowledge of the wider world, we're introducing Car Convos! A topic that we share in the newsletter on a Friday, that families can discuss in the car on their travels. We'll then pick this up after the weekend.

This week in school, I've been asking pupils about their understanding of Protected Characteristics and Prejudice. Our Car Convo this week therefore aims to build on this.
