Come See What Nursing is All About!
Students finishing 6th through 11th grade who are interested in nursing careers will be considered for the West Virginia Nursing Academy.
The Herd Day Camp will be held on Wednesday, June 12th for students exiting 6th- 8th grade and Thursday, June 13th for students exiting 9th -11th grades from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Corbly Hall, Marshall University.
All activities will be held at the Marshall University Campus in Huntington, WV. Only completed applications will be accepted.
Admission Requirements
You must meet the following qualifications to be considered for admission:
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Be a current student in middle/ high school finishing 6th - 11th grade.
- You must submit a brief essay (1 page limit) that explains your personal interest in the nursing profession and why attending Herd Day Camp is important to you.
