Middleton Families,

It's been another great week and we've been loving the unexpected sunshine! This week, we wanted to highlight our music program run by Ms. Schacht. Each week students spend time learning about topics like rhythm, tempo, and pitch. They get to sing, dance, and play a variety of instruments. Below, you can see some of our 2nd grade students learning how to play the xylophone. We are so lucky to have such a great music program for our Middleton students.

Principal Search - Parent Feedback Survey

As you know, our district is in the process of searching for the next Principal of Middleton, who will join our school in July 2024. Your feedback is important to our Human Resources Department and hiring team as they conduct their search for the next Middleton Principal.


To share your feedback with school district leadership and the hiring team, please complete the survey below by Friday, March 1. All survey responses are anonymous, and will not be viewed by our school's administrators/staff.

Your input is crucial as we work to shape the graduate profile, ensuring our students are equipped for success beyond graduation.

Volunteering- There are many opportunities to volunteer at Middleton. All volunteers will need to a) complete a background check. A new background check must be completed for each school year.
  • Background checks are completed online: Background Check Forms. Background checks may take up to 10 days to process.
  • The state of Oregon no longer requires COVID vaccinations for PK-12 school volunteers.


PAC- Our parent volunteer group is a very important part of our school. We are in need of several volunteers to support upcoming events. If you are interested, reach out to middletonpacboard@gmail.com to learn more about how to get involved.
