Carroll High School Weekly Community Newsletter

Message From The Principal
Greetings Carroll Tiger Community!
This week will be a historical and eventful one for all of us at Tigerland. We start our Monday with a very rare event: a total solar eclipse. Although the weather looks to be cloudy, we are still going to witness this rare occurrence while ensuring that we take all the necessary safety and precautionary measures. Moving on to the rest of the week, our Tigers will showcase their brilliance on the English 1 and 2 exams. I am incredibly proud of our entire community, starting from our parents, who make sure that their students come prepared and ready to learn every day, to our admin and support staff, who ensure that our campus is functional and equipped with all the resources needed for success, and to our teachers in the classrooms, who invest in our students so that they have every opportunity to achieve success and excellence on testing day. As a reminder, we will not allow any visitors on campus on testing days, which are Tuesday and Thursday of this week. We want our Tigers to get enough rest, have a good breakfast, and drink plenty of water. We are excited to see the results of all this hard work. It's time for your children to shine, and it is such a great time to be a Tiger!
Your Proud Principal,
Mr. Arredondo
Points of Emphasis and Reminders
Solar Eclipse Reminders
As mentioned earlier, we will be watching the solar eclipse this Monday at around 1:20 PM under supervised and safe conditions. We have adjusted the school schedule accordingly and before walking outdoors to view this rare celestial event, our students and teachers will meet via Microsoft Teams in their classrooms where the administration will review directions and clarify expectations. We are excited about this opportunity and would like to assure your trusted faculty and staff of Carroll High School will supervise the viewing!
So Much Student Success This Week
This week was quite special and quite busy with numerous student groups, organizations, clubs, sports teams representing Carroll High School.
