No school on Friday, February 18 and Monday, February 21. We will resume on Tuesday, February 22!

Following the class cancellations on Feb. 3 and 4, Denton ISD’s 2021-2022 Calendar will remain unchanged for the spring semester. At this time, Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18 will remain student and staff holidays. Use of these days for instruction may be required if there were a need for additional cancellations during this spring semester, preventing Denton ISD from meeting the required instructional minutes.

Just a reminder that on Dec. 14, Denton ISD announced the conversion of Wednesday, April 13 from a full day of instruction to a half day of class for students. On that day, staff will participate in collaborative planning.

On Saturday, February 5, 109 art students competed in VASE (Visual Art Scholastic Event) and 104 of them earned EXEMPLARY ratings and medals for their work. We are proud of all the students that competed.

Any students having issues or needing chromebook repairs can visit the library ANY day during 2nd and 4th blocks. They will be assigned a loaner while theirs is being repaired. Please note, power issues are the most common issue and can be fixed in about 5 minutes. We also have a student/parent hotline for any tech needs at 940-369-1234.

SADIE HAWKINS DANCE - The first-ever Sadie Hawkins ball will be here in just a few weeks! Start thinking about who you want to bring and what you want to wear. Tickets go on sale March 23-25 during all lunches in the Commons. The dance will be held Saturday, March 26th @ 7:30-11:00 pm at Bentley Station and is open to all Guyer students.

STAFF APPRECIATION RAFFLE - Staff Appreciation Week will be celebrated the first week of May. If you or your business would like to donate an item or two for us to raffle off, please email us at GuyerPTSA@gmail.com. This raffle is free for our staff members!
