Hello Slater Nation!

Next week begins our 2024 season of Cognia testing. We will begin with English testing for our Freshmen class on Wednesday and Thursday (during periods 3 and 4). We plan to serve a special breakfast for our 9th graders to show appreciation for their hard work. This testing is essential to help us gauge academic growth and identify areas of need. We appreciate the family support you give to your children. Please see the poster below for ideas and suggestions on how to prepare your child for the testing.

Our annual Diane Flood basketball game will be held next week. This is a fun family event that raises scholarship money that goes directly to an FHU student. Thank you for joining and supporting our kids!

We have an upcoming Eligibility Check on March 29th, as well. Please make sure to take a look at your child's progress on PowerSchool and reach out to teachers if you have any questions or concerns.

This year's Cognia testing is right around the corner. Our 9th-grade students will take their English assessment on March 27th and March 28th, and their Math assessment on April 9th and April 10th. Our 11th-grade students will take their Science assessment on April 2nd and April 3rd. HERE is the letter that was sent out today for families that have students taking the test.

Come watch the Seniors vs Faculty at 6:00 PM on March 28th. Entrance fee is $2. There will be a 50/50. All funds go toward a scholarship for one of our senior students.

FHUMHS Student will have a packed morning of exposure to dozens of career opportunities on April 25th. We are excited to host what may be our largest career fair to date!
