Patriot Family Gazette 4/19/24

Patriot Families,

Another great week in the books and we celebrated our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for how hard they worked with week on STAAR testing. Thank you for helping us make our testing environment great and adhering to our "NO VISITORS" policy during testing and makeup days. Next week we will have our final round of testing as they will take the 3rd-5th grade Math STAAR on Tuesday. We will have the policy in place once again as we strive for a secure testing environment. Also please note:

- Campus will be closed on testing days and makeup days as well.

- Students they may bring a small pillow (no blankets, bring a jacket).

- Snacks & small water bottle will be provided, can bring their water bottle (no juice or soda).

- Bring book if not already at school, no backpacks needed.

- Get a good night's rest and do your best work!

Our service learning project will continue until the end of April, and some our May events are right around the corner with Teacher Appreciation Week and Leadership Day/Night. We can't wait to wrap up a strong year for our Patriots as we have seen a ton of growth and victories.

- Please drop off by 7:50. Our tardy bell rings at that time and we want our Patriots ready to learn with us.

- We cannot release kids after 2:45 due to dismissal procedures. If you have appointments, please make arrangements to pick up by this time.

- If you are dropping off before 7:15, please use the back loop. This area is staffed and students are directed to the cafe or gym. After 7:15, our front loop will be open.

How can you purchase baseball merchandise specific for Tyler Legacy? The link below is a store the baseball team has set up selling spirit gear and items are available in youth sizes. The online store includes specifics for delivery to each school and a baseball booster club member will deliver the items to each elementary/middle school once the orders come in should your students order. We are currently exploring options to have a Future Red Raiders program with baseball. Thanks so much!
