SAFETY CONCERNS π¦Ίπ
Please drive slowly through our parking lots at safe speeds. Cars have been whipping through the parking lot at high speeds, and this is very dangerous for our students and families. Thank you for abiding by all speed limits and posted signs.

COACH ESPARZA'S WORLD π
Next week is our last week of jump rope! Can you believe it went by so fast? Letβs see how many more Bobcat athletes we can get into our 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 minute clubs! I am so proud of the improvement of each student. Keep it up!
This week, 5th graders will also be starting state FitnessGram testing. Weβve been practicing all year for this challenge. Please make sure they bring proper PE shoes and water.
CAASPP TESTING GRADES 3-5 π»
April 22nd-May 10th, Grades 3-5 will participate in annual state testing (CAASPP). CAASPP or California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress is the State of Californiaβs system for monitoring student academic progress in ELA and math for students in 3rd through 12th grade. The primary purpose of CAASPP is to assist teachers, administrators, pupils, and parents by promoting high-quality teaching and learning through the use of a variety of assessment approaches and item types. 5th grade will also participate in the California Science Test known as the CAST.
During this time, it is important for students to eat a healthy breakfast, and be on time at school with a charged iPad.
You may have your child conduct practice testing to get acclimated to the platform.
Please see Superintendent Dr. Ibarra's letter in English or Spanish regarding CAASPP testing.
Please visit: https://www.eusd.org/page/caaspp for more information on testing.
