I hope your Spring Break is filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. Whether you're embarking on your own adventures or taking a well-deserved break at home, I wish you and your families nothing but happiness and relaxation.
Please review the information included to stay abreast of important dates, Spring testing requirements, PROM information, LHS academic awards event, Spring athletic schedules, as well as Project Graduation information.

SAT/MME Testing Schedule
Readiness Checks and ACT Workkeys pre-administration activities:
- Students that do not complete the SAT/PSAT digital readiness checks, or the ACT Workkeys pre-administration activities will be unable to test on their scheduled days.
All 9th-11th grade students must bring their school provided Chromebook on their designated day. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT CHROMEBOOKS ARE FULLY CHARGED. 2024 Spring SAT/MME testing Schedule:
- ALL Students will be in attendance during testing week.
- Monday, April 8, 2024 - PSAT 9. All 9th grade students MUST bring their Chromebooks fully charged.
- Tuesday, April 9, 2024 - SAT with Essay. All 11th grade students MUST bring their Chromebooks fully charged.
- Wednesday, April 10, 2024 - MSTEP. All 11th grade students MUST bring their Chromebooks fully charged.
- Thursday, April 11, 2024 - ACT Workkeys. No Chromebooks needed, this is a paper & pencil assessment for 11th graders.
- Friday, April 12, 2024 - PSAT 10. All 10th grade students MUST bring their Chromebooks fully charged.
Jr.-Sr. PROM Information
Date: Saturday, April 20, 2024
Location: Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI 48374
Time: Red Carpet entry begins at 6:00 pm - PROM ends at 10:00 pm
Dinner: Served at 6:45 pm
Entry: all students attending PROM must arrive no later than 7:15 pm
Tickets: April 1-April 12 cost is $65. No tickets will be sold after April 12. Students and guests MUST have a ticket for entry.
Guest Passes: any LHS student wishing to bring a non LHS student as a guest, MUST have a guest pass completed no later than Friday, April 12, 2024. The guest pass must be fully completed, with an LHS administrators signature to purchase a ticket. Guest passes can be picked up in the information rack outside the main office.
LHS Building Updates
- The senior commons will become unavailable. Construction crews will erect temporary walls to begin work on the new common area. Bench style seating will be provided for students displaced during lunches.
2024 LHS Academic Awards
LHS Academic Awards will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 6:00 pm for students meeting the following criteria:
A student must be enrolled in Linden High School for 3 consecutive semesters to qualify.
A student must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or above.
Eligibility begins with their 3rd semester of attendance at Linden High School through their 7th semester.
At the conclusion of a semester in which a student is eligible, the student must have completed a minimum of 6 classes.
Students meeting the above criteria will be provided a formal invitation to the event after our return from Spring break.
Class of 2024 Project Graduation Information
Alpine Round-Up - April
- Alpine Marketplace is once again generously giving us the Month of April to Round Up your receipt and that money goes directly to Project Graduation. So make your grocery lists and head over to Alpine the entire month of April!
McDonald's Digital Fundraiser - April 11th from 7am - 10pm
- McDonald's in Linden is helping us with a Digital Fundraiser. Download the App and order ahead. Everyone that does so on April 11th we get a portion of the proceeds. Their staff and Grimace will be coming to the High School to promote it with our students! (More info to come soon)
Bridge/Broad Coin Collection - April 13th
- We will once again collect coins at the corner of Bridge/Broad in downtown Linden on April 13th. This is an easy fundraiser but we are about 20 volunteers shy right now and you only have to sign up for 1 hour.

We are currently selling yard signs. This is a great way to recognize your Senior - think open houses as well!!

Spirit Wear
- Our Spirit Wear store is open and taking orders! Spring sports have started and as we all know with spring weather in Michigan...you'll need everything from a hoodie/blanket to a t-shirt/baseball hat!
