Elementary Music Teacher K-5: This position is responsible for classroom instruction and training in Music Education for Primary and Intermediate school students in grades K-5.
Health & PE Teacher K-5: This position is responsible for creating a classroom environment that fosters, promotes, and develops an understanding of the relationship between healthy body function and exercise.
Maintenance & Grounds: Maintenance Staff is responsible for construction, maintenance, and repairs of district property, including, but not limited to, playgrounds, sidewalks, parking lots, trees, bushes, fences, flag poles, stormwater, snow and ice removal, dirt work, and signs.
Substitute & Full-Time Bus Drivers: Qualified applicants need to have the ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL with S and P endorsements. Background check and an annual physicals are required. Drivers are paid per route. Paid training is available for those seeking their CDL certification.
Yearbooks are now on sale! Elementary books (PreK-8th grade) are $15, and High School yearbooks are $40. If buying with cash or check, please complete this form. If purchasing online, please hit the button below! All yearbook orders must be submitted by Friday, March 22.
The elementary book (PreK-8) will be delivered in May before school is out for the summer. The high school book will be available in August 2024. Seniors or senior parents will be able to pick up books in the high school office. The later delivery date on the high school book is due to coverage of spring sports and events, such as Prom and Graduation.

Online registration for the 2024-2025 school year will open on Monday, March 18. Registration for current students and families involves updating parent and student information in Infinite Campus.
If you still need a parent portal login to Infinite Campus, please email communciations@hallsville.org.
Online enrollment and registration will open on Monday, March 18, for all children who will be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2024, and will be entering kindergarten in August 2024. All registration and verification documents must be completed online. Additionally, all registration and verification documents must be completed online and submitted before attending Kindergarten Jumpstart in June.
All families with incoming new students must upload the following documents during online registration. Students will not be registered with the district or allowed to attend school until the full enrollment process is completed and the district has the required documents on file with the Registrar’s Office. Documents needed to upload during online registration are:
- Copy of Child’s birth certificate
- Copy of Immunization records
- Copy of State issued ID of the parent on the birth certificate. If unavailable, a parenting plan or other legal document must be supplied to the school.
- Acceptable Residency Verification Documents:
- Two (2) current and different utility bills (gas, water, or electric) showing the parent/guardian’s printed name and address. Bills must be dated within the last 30 days. Final or disconnect notices will not be accepted.
- OR
- A current rental agreement or closing settlement statement less than 60 days old.
Hallsville FFA invites students, families, and the community to their FFA Pancake Dinner this Friday, February 23rd! FFA members will serve breakfast for dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Ag Building at the back of the main campus. Breakfast is free; however, they will accept free-will donations. Donations received will help support agricultural experiences for the FFA Chapter.
Through a grant from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, all students in Missouri have access to an online program called Varsity Tutors. Students in grades 3 through 12 can access Varsity Tutors by logging into Clever, or clicking here.

- On-Demand Essay Review
- Enrichment Classes
Students and families can receive notifications from ParentSquare in three ways: You can receive notifications in three ways: Email, Text, & App. You can also select off, instant, or digest for each building you have a student enrolled in.
Off: no notifications about posts will be sent to you. Emergency Alerts and Notices will still be sent.
Instant: you'll receive an email and/or text and/or an app notification every time a notice or message is sent.
Digest: you'll receive an email and/or text and/or an app notification once a day in the evening with all posts from that day. This occurs at 6:00 p.m.

A reminder that you can now make lunch payments conveniently through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by sending cash or a check to the school. If your student's lunch balance falls below $10 or becomes negative, balance notifications will be sent every Thursday. You can easily monitor your student's lunch balance in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal anytime. If your student's account has a low balance and is not frequently used, please email communications@hallsville.org to opt out of these notifications.
To make a payment in Infinite Campus:
- Log into Infinite Campus Parent Portal via the app or online.
- Select Food Service
- Click on the blue Pay button
- Enter the amount to put on your student's account
- Select Add to Cart
- Go to your Cart
- Add payment information
- Infinite Campus charges a 4% fee for credit cards and a $.35 fee for checks.

YOUTH ACTIVITIES
Hallsville Middle School will hold cheerleading tryouts for current 6th and 7th graders in March. There is a mandatory meeting for students and families on Wednesday, February 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the intermediate commons for those interested in trying out. Twisters Hockey: Learn to Play Clinics
Twisters Hockey is hosting Learn to Play Clinics in March! Students ages 5 to 18 of all skill levels are encouraged to attend! For more information, please follow Twisters Hockey on Facebook!
Registration is now open for Hallsville Summer Youth Baseball and Softball. All registration must be completed online. The deadline to register is March 24, 2024. The league is currently open to incoming kindergarten students through current 8th grade students.
Hallsville Pack 12 is inviting all kindergarten through 4th grade students to join their pack! They offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and community service projects. Registration is currently discounted by 50% for new members who join before February 29.
Registration is now open for Missouri S&T summer camps for students in grades 1st-12th grade.
