Caddo Mills ISD eagerly awaits meeting our new Foxes every year!

PK and Kindergarten Enrollment Night is scheduled for April 4th, 2024. Lee and Griffis Elementary will be open for tours, enrollment support, and to meet new PK/K students. We invite you to join us for a wonderful night and begin on your child's journey as a fox!

Enrollment should be completed online in the Skyward portal for all new PK and Kindergarten students.

To complete and submit online enrollment, the parent must upload the following documents in Skyward.

Student / Guardian Information

• Enrolling guardian's driver's license
• Student's official birth certificate (copies cannot be accepted)
• (PK students should be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2024. Kindergarten students should be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2024.)
• Student's Social Security Card
• Student's current immunization record

Two documents for Proof of Residency

• One of the following: Deed of Trust, Property Tax Statement, or Lease / Rental Agreement
• One of the following: Current electricity bill, water bill, or gas bill

There are several ways in which a student can qualify for PK. The state eligibility criteria is listed below.

The student:

• is unable to speak or comprehend the English language.
• is educationally disadvantaged.
• To qualify through this option, bring the following information to enrollment night: 2 current paystubs of any person who works in the home, or provide a tax return if self-employed.
• is homeless.
• is the child of an active duty member of the armed forces. (Bring your military ID or paperwork.)
• is the child of a member of the armed forces who was injured or killed while on active duty. (Bring your military ID or paperwork.)
• is or has ever been in the conservatorship of the TX Department of Family and Protective Services. (Bring documentation provided by the agency.)
• is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award.

At times, CMISD has offered limited spaces for Tuition Based PK dependent upon availability. However, for the 2024 - 2025 school year, Tuition Based PK will not be offered. Qualifying numbers will be monitored throughout the summer. Additional information will be provided in August in the event the district is able to offer this route.
