Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
Hello Bulldog Families.
We’ve had another busy spring week at BHS as we saw several students roll up their sleeves to participate in the National Honor Society (NHS) Blood Drive. Our students love giving back to the community, and this event is a positive one for our young people. NHS also tapped several new students who will be participating in the Induction Ceremony next week.
In this midst of a busy End of Course testing week, we had the opportunity to celebrate three amazing people who help keep BHS running every day. Ms. Anstaett, Mrs. Strine, and Mrs. Hilton are instrumental in keeping the front office and the guidance department running smoothly. Without these individuals, most of us would not remember what is supposed to happen next!
We also had the chance to show off our amazing collaborative spaces on Wednesday evening with the AP English Language Community Reading Night. Our own BHS students led book discussions with their chosen reading partners. It truly was exciting to watch our young people not just own, but lead, their own learning!
We’re supposed to have a warmer weekend. I hope all of you have a chance to enjoy it!
In service to our Bulldogs.
