Thank you for serving at our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday! Whether you were serving food, painting faces, putting out eggs, or just visiting with our guests - thank you for blessing families in Weatherford. Thank you Church Family for filling all of those eggs with candy!
There are two special aspects about our Sunday gathering this coming week: 1) We have invited our EBC Daycare Workers and their families to join us for Worship and an Appreciation Lunch after the Service. So when you see new faces this week, ask if they work at the Daycare and then express gratitude to them for serving the families of Weatherford on behalf of our church. 2) We will hear from our Search Committee about their recommendation of a young man to be our part-time Youth Minister. We will meet him and vote on him on Sunday morning April 14.
Finally, I want to thank Pastor Craig for crafting a beautiful and meaningful Good Friday Service last week. It was a sober and moving time of considering Jesus’ death and our role in it. I’m grateful for Craig’s careful attention to the theology of what we sing each week, as well as his desire to help us apply God’s truth to our lives.
