Shout-Outs

  • Shout-out to our Freshmen of the Week from this week! Arturo Arreola comes to us from Chapman Middle. Here at Lee he is in the Spanish Club, plays on the soccer team, and is involved with ROTC. In his spare time she likes to practice soccer to learn new tricks. When he graduates from high school he wants to attend college somewhere and become an ESL teacher. His favorite teacher at Lee is Sgt. Major Petty and Sgt. Graham because they help him have more confidence and learn how to be a better leader. Xavier Teague comes to us from ASFL Middle. At Lee, he is on the football, basketball, and baseball teams. In his spare time, Xavier enjoys playing video games and sleeping. When he graduates from high school he would like to go to LSU and play sports or he would like to go into real estate. His favorite teacher at Lee is Ms. Bacik because she always keeps a smile on her face and she is good to talk to. Congratulations to both of them for representing our FamiLEE values so well!
  • Shout-out to Junior Jayda Blair-Raby! She couldn’t take the ACT on Tuesday because of a sports injury so she spent her day helping prepare the after-ACT cookout for her classmates. Thanks for your service Jayda!!!
  • Shout-out to all our students for doing great while watching the solar eclipse on Monday!
