Enrollment for 2024/2025 School Year
Open enrollment is currently open for next year.
Open Enrollment:
In the Kuna School District, every school offers an excellent education for students. The district is committed to sustaining outstanding schools and fostering strong relationships between parents and teachers.
We recognize that some assigned school attendance areas may not meet the needs of families in our district, and there are families who live outside of our district boundaries and want to choose our schools for their children. Idaho law (33-1402) allows us to offer an opportunity to apply for a change of school through open enrollment.
Click here for more information about Open Enrollment.
Withdrawing
If you are not planning on returning to FMS next year, please let the office know. This helps us with our class planning and scheduling.
Daniel Gill Assembly
Daniel Gill will be coming to FMS on April 26th for an assembly to speak to our students. He has competed on American Ninja Warrior for the past 7 seasons and every season he has qualified for the Las Vegas finals. Daniel is a motivational speaker that speaks all over the country about overcoming obstacles whether physical, mental, or emotional.
Facts and Snacks
We have our fourth round of Facts & Snacks coming up on April 23rd. This is a great way for students to get more information about College & Career topics!
Students from KHS in the Media Tech/Broadcasting Pathway will be here on Monday, April 23rd. in room 23 during their lunch block.
Snacks will be provided for those students that sign up. Getting them signed up is easy. They just need to scan the QR code on the flyer (attached) and answer three short questions. They can use their chromebook to scan the code. Or you can copy this link and paste it in Schoology for your students to sign up.
Checking Out To Go Home
Reminder that if a student needs to call a parent because they are sick or need to go home, they must come to the office and use the phone from there. Using their cell phone to make these calls is not allowed and violates our cell phone policy.
Chromebooks
Please remind your students to charge their Chromebooks at night. We don't have many extra Chromebooks for students to use during the day.
Student Behaviors
We're seeing an increase in student discipline referrals to the office lately. This includes rough-housing, cell phone usage, disrespect toward students and staff members, tardies, and off task behaviors in class. Please remind your student of their academic and social responsibilities in school.
