The BIS Bulletin

Students in grades K-5 are invited to show off their skills at the annual talent show! The link to register is attached below. (Acts can be individual or group performances, each member of a group performance needs to fill out the form separately; if you are supplying your own music, it will need to submitted ahead of time; no pets are allowed; the show will take place at the high school auditorium). Begin preparing those amazing talents to share with others!

We are very excited to host our annual Field Day event on Friday, May 10! We would like to ask our parent volunteers to help make this event a success. Please take a look at the sign up and see if there is a time slot that would work for you to come out on a beautiful day and help our kids enjoy Field Day! We are also asking for snack donations for our concession station. If you are able to donate individually wrapped snacks please sign up below! In the comments section, please list the type of snack and total number of packages you will be sending. We would like to have the snacks delivered to one of the school offices by Monday, May 6th. Deadline to enroll is May 1.

End of year testing, required by the state, will be here before you know it. More information will be shared about these tests, what you can expect if your student is taking these tests for the first time, and tips to help your student be successful. For now, we just ask that you mark your calendars so you know when your child will be testing. Our anticipated test dates are as follows:

3rd Grade: May 6, 7, 8, 9, 13

4th Grade: May 6, 7, 8, 9

5th Grade: May 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14

If your student will not be at school for any of the above dates, please let us know ASAP so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

We love to support our students and see them in their element outside of school. If your student plays any sports or does any activities outside of school where spectators are welcome, feel free to drop off or send in a schedule to the office and we can share that information with staff!

All parents (grades K-5) are welcome to join Home & School! This is our version of a PTA and provides an opportunity for parents to become involved with the school by taking leadership in planning yearly teacher appreciation incentives, extra-curricular events, and support for students and teachers. Meetings are held monthly and anyone can join at any time!
