Thank You, Assistant Principals!
As we celebrate Assistant Principal Appreciation Week, let us take a moment to recognize the incredible work and dedication of our assistant principals at the Intermediate School. They play a vital role in shaping our school culture and supporting the academic success of our students. Their tireless efforts behind the scenes often go unnoticed, but their impact on our school community is immeasurable. Let's show our appreciation for our Assistant Principals, Christy Marbach & Sara Elley, and thank them for all that they do.
We Love Our Librarians!
Let's give a big shout-out to these unsung heroes who work tirelessly to support our education and love for books. They are always ready to help us find that perfect book or guide us through research projects. So let's take a moment to thank our school librarians and show them how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication.
Military Child Education Coalition Art Contest
The MCEC Call for the Arts program invites military-connected children from all over the world, representing every branch of service, to share interpretations through art of what it means to be a military-connected child. 2024 Call for the Arts submissions are accepted through April 30th. The contest is open to students K-12. Please click the link for more information.

Welcome, Spring!
The first of two sets of Painted Lady Butterflies raised in our computer lab this spring have been released to help pollinate La Vernia! Students have been able to experience the various stages of the life cycle, and fourth graders will be able to use what they have learned in an upcoming coding project, where they will model animal changes and adaptations by creating mini videos with code!
Our school-wide goal is 10,000 bags!
