APRIL 2024
Powerlifting
Justin McBride and Leo Zapata both competed well at the state powerlifting meet in Abilene. Leo finished 12th in his class and Justin finished 5th. Leo increased his regional total by 30 pounds at the state meet.
Coach Dill and Coach Nichols did a great job with out boys and girls this season.
Baseball
Our baseball team currently has a season record of 11-10 and a district record of 6-3. With a come from behind win last night vs Blue Ridge, we have clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2021. We still have some work to do before our seeding is decided with 3 more district games left.
On Friday, April 5th we honored our 7 seniors that will be leaving our baseball program at the end of the year.

Track
Our track team has competed hard in preparation for our district track meet. We hosted our Warrior Relays and that was a huge success. We then traveled to Pottsboro. The hard work has paid off with lots of Bonham athletes being called over the loud speaker at the district track meet. We have 10 boys moving on to the Area meet on Thursday, 4/12. Our boys will be participating in 8 different events at the Area meet.
Golf
Our golf season has come to an end. We competed this week at our district golf tournament at Stone Creek Golf Course in Sherman, TX. Over the season we have grown in the game of golf many ways. We began the year with 6 golfers and finished with 12. This gave us the ability to field teams in both the girls and boys divisions at District. We introduced the game to some brand new golfers and hopefully gave them interest in something they can play the rest of their lives.
