Spring reminds us how beautiful growth can be, and we are seeing it every day in every one of the children that attend our center.

Our students who are receiving tutoring after school are thriving academically. Our homeschooled children are nurturing their brains every week. It is rewarding to see so much growth in just a couple of months.

Spring is kicking in as well as new modules starting the week of April 15th. This will be our last module before our summer season begins.

We are also excited about both our Summer camp options and weekly enrichment programs.

• April 8th - April 14th - Center Closed. Spring Break.

• April 15th - After School STEM Enrichment program starts.

• April 16th - Homeschool STEM Enrichment program starts. Grades K-2. Ages 5-8

• April 18th - Homeschool STEM Enrichment program starts. Grades 3-5. Ages 9-12

• April 30th - Bring a friend to any one class during the month of April and be entered to win a personalized reading/writing bundle. Please let us know when your child will bring a friend so that we can plan accordingly.

Weekly Summer Programs Information

Summer is around the corner, plan ahead and ensure a fun and nurturing experience for your child!

Summer Book Clubs at Collaborative Education Center

Weekly book clubs will keep your child reading and talking about books all summer long. Books clubs will meet weekly for 90 minutes and will cover weekly themes based on enrollment ages.

Our center is the perfect place to keep the love of reading growing this summer.

Book Club Dates:

Wednesdays: July 10th, 24th, 31st, Aug. 7th*

Grades K-2: 9:30-11am

Grades 3-5: 12 - 1:30pm

Each club must have at least 2 students to run.

Our summer camps are themed weekly camps, running from Monday through Thursday. We offer options for children in grades K-2 and grades 3-5. Certified teachers and professionals with more than 20 years of experience will deliver summer instruction.

JUNE 17 - JUNE 20

This STEM camp will engage children in the engineering design process as they ask questions and learn about animals, then design and build habitats with LEGOS and makerspace materials.

• Early Arrival 8:30 am - Late Pick Up: 1:00pm.

JUNE 17 - JUNE 20

The theme of this camp is Building for Tomorrow. The engineering design process will be followed throughout the week as children research information on a problem and then plan and build a response to help solve the problem.

July 15 - July 18

This academic camp will engage students in literacy, math and science learning activities. Games and team challenges will be integrated along with group, partner and individual learning time.

• Grades K-2: Monday - Thursday 9:00am -12:00pm. Early Arrival 8:30 am - Late Pick Up: 1:00pm
• Grades 3-5: Monday - Thursday 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Aug 5 - Aug 8

Entering Kindergarten is a big milestone and we are here to help with this transition. This camp is designed to prepare your child for the first days of school. Small group activities, snack time, storytime and socialization will all be part of this nurturing readiness camp.

Two sessions available:

• Monday - Thursday. Monday - Thursday. 9:00am -10:30am
• Monday - Thursday. 11:00am-12:30pm

We provide early arrival and late pick-up options. You can choose as many days as you want.

• Early Arrival 8:30 - 9:00 am $10 per day

• Late Pick Up 12:00 - 1:00 pm $20 per day. Children must bring lunch.

Refund Policy:

• Cancel before May 1, 2024 - FULL REFUND minus $30 service charge.

• After May 1, 2024 - NO REFUND

Missed Class Policy : There are no refunds for missed classes.
Payment in full must be made within 3 days of completing the registration form.

We offer personalized individual and small group tutoring. Our first session is complimentary!

STEM Modules

Is your child curious and interested in challenging themselves to solve problems? Join our next STEM module starting the week of April 15th, and expose your child to science and engineering challenges that are sure to engage them in critical thinking and problem solving.

Spanish

Are you interested in introducing your child to the Spanish language for the first time? Does your child already understand Spanish and engage in small conversations, but you'd like them to become more fluent?

Join us for Spanish Enrichment classes! We currently offer classes for both beginners and intermediate levels, with options for homeschool and after-school programs available.

Drop In Playdates

Play, explore, socialize and learn a little too! Your child is welcome to join us every week.

• Mondays 4:30 - 6:00 pm Grades K-2.

• Tuesdays 10:00 - 11:30 am. Grades K-2.

• Thursdays 10:30 - 12:00 pm. Grades 3-5.

Spanish Lessons

• Tuesdays 11:30 am -1:00 pm. Beginner level - Spanish Interactive Storytime.

• Thursdays 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm. Intermediate level - Conversations in Spanish.

Drop - In Playdates

• Mondays 10:30am-12:00pm Kindergarten Drop-In Playdate.

• Wednesdays 10:00 am - 11:30 am. All elementary ages. 5-12

• Registration Required.

Individual Tutoring in Math and/or Literacy

• Monday through Thursday between the hours of 3pm - 7pm. *Sessions to be scheduled upon availability.

Natalie Hubert has a background in special education and education administration. She holds teaching certifications in regular education and special education in Connecticut and New York. She brings over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience. Natalie’s background knowledge in assessment, instruction, and curriculum provides a strong foundation for the programs at the center.

Tatiana's background is in Marketing and Corporate Marketing. Before becoming a mother, she worked full-time in one of the biggest companies worldwide. When her first daughter was born, she decided to stay home. In a blink of an eye, her daughters were in 4th and 2nd grade, and she decided to go back to work, serving as the Admissions and Marketing Coordinator at her daughters' school. That time provided her with a deep understanding of education and connections with parents and students. Tatiana is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about creating an organized and welcoming space for the center.
