🔵 No School on Monday.

🔵 Please use the car rider drop off area if your child is a car rider. Students walking across the car line creates a safety concern.

🔵 If your child is missing a hoodie or jacket please ask them to stop by the Lost & Found. It is full of nearly 100 lost items. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of April.

Students have opportunities to walk past the Lost & Found each day.

Book Blast

Book Blast is open for 1 more week. Every student that sends 10 emails or texts to friends/family will receive 3 prizes. (If your child did not receive one of the first 110, they will receive them following the conclusion of the Book Blast).

****No money has to be donated for your child to receive the 3 prizes.****

In any classroom where 60% of the students send the 10 messages, the classroom teacher will be awarded $100 to spend on classroom supplies!

EVERY student in our school will receive at least 1 book for him/her to keep at home. If there was money donated to the student, he/she will receive more books to keep at home to build their personal library.

During this time, Mrs. Byrd will speak briefly about Handbook revisions and share how you can provide your input.

We will also be discussing the plan for Teacher Appreciation Week.

The Color Run occurs during our school hours. If you wish to volunteer, you must have a background check on file. Please reach out to Nurse Andrea for more information. It does take time to get background checks back, so act quick!

We reached our 19 Million Word goal! We're currently working for 25 MILLION words. When we reach that we will pie some staff members!

Be sure you are connected on Class Dojo. Not only will you be able to communicate with your child's teacher, but you will also be able to see how many Dojo points your child has earned. Each quarter we will have a Dojo Celebration. Students that have earned enough Dojo points for GREAT behavior will attend. Points start over each quarter.
