The Weekly Update #4

Dear Windom Eagle Families,

What a winter! Someday, we will be telling our grandchildren about the winter of 2022-2023 and the winter of 2023-2024. They were complete opposites! The winter of 2023-2024 provided uninterrupted learning, which is what every educator and parent hopes for! We've had many days of explicit instruction tailored to exactly what each student needs to enhance their learning. Our teachers are passionate, focused on the learning targets, and driven to help every child succeed.

I hope that you were able to visit with your child's teacher last week during parent/teacher conferences. If you ever have questions for teachers, please email them by using the staff directory. They'd be happy to hear from you!

March 22 - End of the Quarter - Early Out - Elementary will dismiss at 12:30 and MSHS at 12:35. There will be no afternoon Bridges Preschool.

Bridges Preschool Registration for the Fall of 2024

Windom Area Public Schools is pleased to announce that Bridges Preschool is now accepting registrations for the 3 & 4-year-old classes for the 24-25 school year. Bridges Preschool is dedicated to educating children socially, emotionally, and academically as they prepare for success in Kindergarten and beyond.

Kindergarten Registration for the Fall of 2024

Do you have a child who will be 5 years old by September 1? If you do, it’s time for kindergarten! If you need to register your child, call the elementary office at 831-6925.

Dental Sealant

Windom Schools is participating in the Minnesota School Sealant Program, where students receive free or low cost dental services provided at school. Dental sealants and fluoride varnishes will be provided due to the amazing benefits they provide at a low cost. The dental sealant program will visit our school district on the following dates: MSHS on April 3rd, Elementary on April 4th, and Bridges on April 11th.

Senior Hall

Every year the graduating class of Windom High School votes on a mural to paint in senior hall. The class of 2024 chose this image to represent their class.

We look forward to having this painting come to life over the next few months as our seniors prepare for their next chapter.
