PBIS Winners
Congratulations to Catherine S., Faith M., Gianna V., Will A., Olivia R., Kyrylo K., Ariel G., Fredy G., Kayla N., and Mazie D., who are our latest round of 200 Club winners! These students were part of the lucky row of 10 on the 200 Club Board. Keep Living Safely, Owning Responsibility, and Giving Respect!
GEMS Club
The GEMS Club would like to thank everyone who donated new and used Solar Eclipse glasses last week. We are excited to announce that we collected over 75 glasses. That means that at least seventy five students in Latin America will be able to safely watch the Solar Eclipse in August. It also means that there will be 75 less pairs of glasses going to a landfill after just one use. The glasses we collected were added to those collected by Tyler State Park and will be packaged and shipped to Latin America courtesy of the Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy. They have reported that the response to this collection has been overwhelming! They are partnering with several other organizations to ensure that all glasses are thoroughly inspected and redistributed for the upcoming solar eclipse and and beyond. Thank you for helping us to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Text Detectives in Action!
This week our 6th grade English Language Development scholars turned into detectives as they practiced finding text evidence within short passages. With a focus on preparing for PSSAs, students focused on uncovering clues and honing their ability to support their answers with textual evidence. Through engaging activities and collaborative discussions, our students are not only mastering the language but also cultivating critical thinking skills.
Spring Sports
Dear Log College Families,
Winter Sports have concluded and Spring Sports Season has arrived. Contact Log's Athletic Director, Mr. Corey at coreco@centennialsd.org with any questions.
Spring Sports include:

- Softball
- Girls Soccer
- Two Club Sports (6th Grade students are eligible): Pickleball and Lacrosse (No physical needed for club sports)
PIAA sports physical -
All students must have a completed PIAA physical (dated after June 1, 2023). The physical forms can be downloaded from the link - PIAA Physical Form - Updated 3/22/23 (or you can pick one up from Mr. Corey, our athletic director or any LCMS coaches).
If you have already played a sport in the Fall/Winter, you do not need to complete a new physical, but you must re-submit section 7 (Re-certification by parent/guardian) from the PIAA physical form. This page does not require seeing a doctor or medical provider.
If you did not submit a PIAA physical in the Fall/Winter, you must complete Sections 1 to 5 within the PIAA sports physical packet. This must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Section 6 must be completed by an authorized medical examiner (family doctor, urgent care, minute clinic). You can ignore pages 7-8.
If you cannot find an appointment time with your doctor, you may use another provider or visit a CVS Minute Clinic or visit an Urgent Care center. The Centennial School District has a partnership with Liberty Urgent Care:
If you use any of the following Liberty Urgent Care centers and mention Centennial SD, your physical will only cost $20. (Locations listed below)
