April 15, 2024
Registration
Student registration opens today (4/15) for all returning families. All returning families should have received an email with instructions and login credentials this morning. If you do not see the email, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot locate your registration login information, please contact Dave Huber at huber@ogschool.org. We ask that all families complete the online registration as soon as possible, as this helps us quite a bit with the scheduling process.
Illinois Science Assessment
Students in grades 5 and 8 will be taking the state-mandated Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) on April 22 and 23. The assessment is in a similar format to the IAR that students recently participated in, but is much shorter. It will be given in three sessions and takes 40-60 minutes to complete each session.
Students will need working headphones and a charged iPad/laptop each day
Students may not have cell phones, Apple watches, etc. during the testing periods
Students should eat a good breakfast and have a good night’s sleep
Field Day is Friday, May 24 - Rain or Shine!
We are looking forward to a fun-filled morning where the students will play games with teammates from all grade levels. In order for this morning to be successful, we are going to need A lot of volunteers ASAP to confirm the event. Volunteers are needed from 8:30 - 11:00 am. It is also a 1:00 pm early dismissal day. Grab a friend and sign up for a station that sounds fun. Please feel free to email Karin Pawlowski or Laura Reutzel with any questions.
