BHS Principal Candidate Forum postponed!
Tonight's Principal Candidate Forum has been postponed. We will let students, families and staff know when this has been rescheduled!
Be Bremerton is this Saturday!
Have you signed up?
On the morning of Saturday, May 4, BSD students, staff, families and volunteers will gather at Evergreen Rotary Park, and head downtown as teams to clean up downtown Bremerton before the annual Armed Forces Day parade and celebration the weekend of May 18! The event includes a FREE lunch for all participants provided by Seaside Church.
A limited supply of FREE t-shirts will be available. If you have participated in the past and still have your t-shirt, wear it to be entered into a drawing for a caramel apple from Amy's Decadent Chocolates (owned by a Bremerton High School graduate!).
We encourage everyone to sign-up on the website as this expedites the check-in process at the event, but walk-ups are always welcome!

Reminder! Please share your thoughts in our district communication survey
The Bremerton School District is conducting a district-wide survey to gather input about the district’s communications efforts. All staff, parents/guardians, and community members are invited to take a 15-minute confidential online survey today through May 6.
This survey, conducted by a respected independent team of researchers from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), will help us improve our communication practices.
By participating in the survey (available in English and Spanish), you play an active role in shaping how we communicate with you.
All responses will be anonymous, so please be open and honest with your feedback on district communications. We appreciate your support and eagerly await your input.
Questions? Please contact Karen.Bevers@BremertonSchools.org.
Sun Bucks grocery benefits program
In summer 2024, some families in the Bremerton School District will be eligible for a new grocery benefits program that provides families $120 for each eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out.
Enrollment: Many families will get Summer EBT/SUN Bucks automatically if they are getting other benefits, but some families may need to apply. If you are unsure if you qualify or need to apply, please contact the BSD Child Nutrition Services office at 360-473-4717.
Share your thoughts about a new district mobile device policy!
2024-25 registration is open!
Registration is open for the 2024-25 school year! If you know a family with a student who will be attending kindergarten in the fall, or who recently moved or will be moving to Bremerton, please encourage them to visit BremertonSchools.org/Register.

Reminder for families of Native American or Alaska Native heritage
The Bremerton School District Native American/Alaskan Native Program receives funding through a federal grant from the Office of Indian Education. Our grant funding is based upon the number of Title VI Student Eligibility Certification Forms (506 forms) received for each active student. If your student is of Native American or Alaska Native heritage and you haven't yet completed this form, we invite you to complete the 506 form today here! Completed forms can be emailed to Wendy.Bender@bremertonschools.org or returned to your school’s office.
