AVA Family Update

I have next week's schedule, the guidance and community updates, and important dates below as usual.

A few other items of importance:

1. AP students were alerted today of the time (varies) and place (AHS) of their tests via email.

2. I sent this notice personally to many students today, but my usual "take advantage of the school break to catch up" still applies next week. Email me if you need something unlocked.

3. Progress Report grades will be published on Wednesday, May 1.

4. We have a really funky schedule the Wednesday we return. Please see below.

SAT/ACT Spring Test Registration

Another reminder that testing registration deadlines are coming up soon for SATs and ACT. Please know your deadlines and click HERE to register for SATs and HERE for ACT.

SAT Fee waiver Online Application
The SAT fee waiver application is now available online at the Collegeboard site. Please click HERE to read more information and then log into your account to begin the process. It can be tricky, so please email Ms Nellie if you are having trouble.

Seniors - Final transcripts
AVA seniors who are college bound - If you have committed to attend a certain college/university, please email Ms Nellie and let her know which one so that your Final transcript may be sent to them at the end of the school year. And don't forget to complete the FAFSA by your school's priority deadline in order to maximize your financial aid!
