  News for You:

• Teacher requests: We are beginning our class lists for next year and plan to share your child's next year's teacher during the 1st week of the summer. Teacher request letters were sent home in your child's Friday folder. it goes over what is justified as a request. Thank you!

• Pitt Spitters Reading Club Ticket Vouchers: See below to redeem your Pit Spitters Reading Club Vouchers. Thanks!
• Online: Follow the steps on the attached form to select the exact seats you want for the game. You can also purchase additional tickets if you need anything extra. This is the quickest and easiest way to get your tickets for one of the Reading Club Pit Spitters Games this year!
• The Box Office: You can redeem your vouchers at our Box Office before or on the day of the game of your choosing.
• Calling the box office at 231-943-0100.

• Popcorn Fridays: Parent/Guardians, popcorn Fridays are back! Students will get a bag of popcorn one Friday of the month (usually the last Friday). We are asking students to bring in $.25 per month to help offset the cost of the popcorn. This is not mandatory, and we thank you for your help! *Our next Popcorn Friday will be Friday, May 31st.
  
  
• VIP Days: Your child can bring in someone special to them and enjoy a light breakfast provided by our lunch staff from 8:00 am to 8:20 am in the MPR. VIP RSVPs will be sent home a week before each grade level's date.

• May 3rd (Kindergarten)

• 2024-2025 Kindergarten Enrollment: We are taking appointments for our Kindergarten Roundup, which will take place in August 2024! Your child must turn five before September 1, or you can sign a waiver if they turn five after September 1 and before December 1. Thanks!
• Our Kindergarten Parent Open House will be on Wednesday, May 9th, at 5:30 PM.

Blake Austin set a school sit-up record with an astonishing 53 total sit-ups! The former record was 50, set by Brayden Burnside!

Audie Wieber crushed the school pushup record by hammering out 63 pushups in one minute. Lucian Swaney set the previous record!

If you want to be a part of the PTO, we meet approximately once a month for about an hour. We aim for parents and teachers to collaborate to supplement and enrich your student's educational experience! Our next meeting will be on May 1st, at 6:30 p.m. in the elementary staff lounge. Thanks!
