Weekly Parent Update

April 28, 2024

We are looking forward to another wonderful week! It is hard to believe it is already the end of April.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will begin State Testing this week! Please help us encourage them to do their best and rock the test! Students that are present for testing days and on time will receive a daily incentive! Students test best when they are in their typical environment/routine, please help us provide this structure for students by eliminating make-up testing if possible.

Also, don't forget - our Spring Festival sponsored by PTO is this Saturday, May 4th! We cannot wait to see everyone!

Awards Day Information:

Details for parking, sign out procedures, etc. will be shared closer to Awards Day.
We ask that parents limit guest to 4, due to cafeteria capacity restrictions.
There will be no reception in the classroom following this year's ceremony due to our summer packing/construction deadlines starting later that week.

2024 Summer Camp Information

Hagood Elementary will not have a summer program this summer (2024) due to our school undergoing construction on our floors! We are excited for this upgrade and apologize for any inconvenience it causes this summer to our families. Below you will find several other local opportunities for summer camps offered.
