Thank you so much for all of the photos submitted thus far for our school yearbook!! We are in the last steps finishing up our yearbook and are asking for a few more photo submissions ONLY in the following categories:

World Down Syndrome day is Thursday, March 21st! Join us is celebrating by wearing blue and yellow, and/or rocking your brightly colored or mismatched socks!

The D303 donation drive for Bernie’s Book Bank will be held April 1-12 at all D303 schools. Please consider bringing in new and gently used children’s books for birth through 6th grade to one of the D303 schools during the donation drive. Parents or students may place books in the collection bins located in the front hallway. D303’s goal for the 2024 donation drive is 20,000 books. Every book will help us reach our goal!

The 2nd Annual Ferson Family Dance

6pm-8pm in the Ferson Creek Gym

We need your help to ensure this event runs smoothly. From donations to planning, from decorating to post-dance cleanup, there are plenty of ways to chip in to make this event a success.

Each year D303 participates in the 5Essentials Survey. We strive for as much participation as possible, as we use this data to reflect on instruction, operations, and climate. Our goal is for at least 20% of parents to complete the survey and we only have 16% participation right now. Please take a few minutes to share your anonymous feedback by completing the 5Essentials Survey.

Placements for next year's incoming 4th grade students who qualified for AT Math/AT ELA and incoming 6th grade students who qualified for Accelerated Math, AT and Infinity Gifted Programming have been completed. Families of students who have been placed in these pathways have been contacted via email. Parents/Guardians whose student was not identified and feels their student should be considered for one of these placements is welcome to complete a Request for Appeal by March 15. The appeal process is outlined in the link along with contact information for our Gifted Coordinator if you have questions.

The 2024 St. Charles North Summer Camp Brochure is linked below. This is also posted on their athletic website (https://schools.snap.app/scn). Registration will go live on Friday, March 15.

3rd-5th graders participate in The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). IAR testing will start the Tuesday after spring break. A more specific schedule for IAR testing will be shared closer to the testing date.

The District 303 Board has approved boundary maps for elementary, middle, and high schools. Maps are effective with the 2024-2025 school year beginning this fall. The Board's decision completes a process that began last fall to reduce school overcrowding and help to ensure equitable learning experiences across the District. District 303 had contracted with demographer RSP & Associates to create concept maps based on Board-approved guiding principles and community feedback. Please see the parent notice from Superintendent Gordon to learn more and review the approved maps.

The Spirit Morning schedule has been updated with dates for second semester. Please come and join us for a morning of welcoming our Ferson students to school. Each month we have a theme to welcome students into their school day. If you are interested in helping bring some excitement to school drop off from 7:40 - 8:00 am, sign up here.
