TOWN is coming up March 1! Just a reminder for students and parents: Students must have all work completed and turned in to the teacher by a week before the date of town, this trimester it is February 23. Students are given notice of missing work well in advance, so it should not be a surprise if they have missing work. In addition to independent reading, students need to submit 30 reading logs, students need to have a balance of $1500 or more in their checking account. Students will be excused from town if they have forgotten their town supplies.

We want the focus on this Town to remain on the students/entrepreneurs and the hard work they put into their business with their partner. Parents can drop off supplies for their child’s TOWN business on the morning of TOWN. Parents will be invited along with other classes from Sunset to the final TOWN (third trimester) from 12:30-1:00.

Sunset School is WY-TOPP testing this March. Please assist us in making the test taking as smooth as possible by not scheduling out-of-school appointments. Thank you! The testing schedule is listed below.

It's hard to believe that it's March already!! I hope you take a few moments to read over the March Community Newsletter, which is full of great information for families.

The Kindergarten and 1st grade classes are preparing for their music program Barnyard Moosical. The program is 6:30 p.m, Tuesday, April 9th, at the CHS Wynona Thompson Auditorium. Student speaking parts will be going home on Monday, March 11th along with information about concert dress. Please keep a look out for information from me in your child's Monday folders.
