Counselor's Corner
CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT for FALL 2024!
A Concurrent Enrollment course is a college course that a student can take while in high school. St. Vrain Valley Schools will pay the student share of tuition minus Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF). The District is not responsible for payment of any additional fees other than tuition. Specifically the District will not reimburse for course related books, materials and fees. Courses are offered at LHS during the school day and are taught by a FRCC professor, except ENG 1021 and 1022 will be taught by an LHS teacher. Students also have the opportunity to take Concurrent Enrollment classes that are offered on the FRCC campus/online.
If students are interested, they need to apply to FRCC then fill out the district CE form. Please read this document for instructions and steps to complete the concurrent enrollment process. The concurrent enrollment deadline is May 3rd.
Is your teen curious about Careers in Tech? Check out Opportunity CLIMB on Wednesday during lunch in the cafeteria area students can stop by to ask any questions and get more information about this program the district offers.
