Our Panorama Survey Data was just released today. As I take a first look at this report, I am excited to share that Bear Creek is showing tremendous gains. Students in 3rd - 5th grade take the survey each year. With a 96% participation rate, our students indicated the biggest gain in the area of School Belonging. The second highest gain and overall highest rating was in School Rigorous Expectations. Staff participation was at 89%. The indicator with the largest gain was in Feedback and Coach. The highest indicator overall was School Leadership. The parent survey had a lower participation rate. There were two indicators that tied for largest gain. Those are (removing) Barriers to Engagement and School Climate. Our next CAC meeting will be a wonderful way to see this data in person. As soon as I have a shareable link, I will push these reports out to our community.
Thank you for showing your love and appreciation to our Front Office team. Melissa, Nery, and Robin are truly the heart and soul of our campus. We are grateful for them and their service to Bear Creek.
Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is open. Austin ISD will begin to make staffing adjustments based on enrollment projections. Also, Bear Creek is experiencing an increased number of transfer requests. We want to assure that all zoned families are accounted for prior to opening the opportunities to other area families. If you need enrollment help, please contact Robin or Melissa for support.
We always seek to place all learners in their best classroom environment. Teachers, Specialized Support Staff, and Administration work together to create student groupings in May. Please use this FORM to share with us your insight about your child(ren). The form will turn off on May 12th. Grade level teams will begin to create the 2024-2025 class groupings the last few weeks in May.
It is so hard to believe that it is the last month of the school year! Thank you for partnering with us as we education and grow our Cubs.
