Military Morning "High 5"
On March 20th, students will be greeted in the morning by members of the USAF Security Police. They will be here to give them high fives and wish them a good day! These members will come every month to say hello to our students. With the Grissom Air Force Reserve Base located nearby, it is a great opportunity to form a partnership with them. We are excited to offer our students the chance to be encouraged by our military personnel!
Attendance (765) 689-9131
Parents or guardians must call the school attendance line when their child is absent. Call 765-689-9131 and wait to hear Maconaquah Elementary School and then attendance. Contacting the teacher is not the same as reporting it to the attendance line in the front office. When you call the attendance line to report a student's absence, please include why the child is absent, or it will be marked as unexcused. If a child is absent for a medical appointment, it is necessary to bring a doctor's note for the absence to be excused.

Braves of the Week
2nd Grade: Samuel Exmeyer
Sam Exmeyer is a caring student who loves to help out in the classroom. He is also a great friend and helper to his classmates. Sam loves everything Spiderman. He can turn any creative assignment in class into Spiderman! Sam loves to read and is always ready to share fun facts about what he has read. We love having Sam in our class!
3rd Grade: Bentley Diedrick
Bentley works hard in the classroom to do his best. He has shown improvement in benchmarks and has been focusing on improving every day. He follows directions and is an example to other students in the class. Good job, Bentley.
4th Grade: AJ McMasters
AJ McMasters is a great kid, and we are lucky to have him in our classroom. AJ is always willing to lend a helping hand to his classmates and teacher. AJ has been working hard to improve in the classroom these nine weeks, and his efforts have not gone unnoticed. Lately, you can count on AJ to sit quietly, read a book, or work on his classwork. He has great stories and enjoys telling them to his friends and teacher. He is also great about hyping others and making them feel good about themselves. We are grateful to have AJ as part of our classroom this year.
5th Grade: Hattie Hatcher
Hattie has a positive attitude toward anything in school. She is always willing to help any adult or student. Hattie also tries her best on every assignment and always has a smile on her face. Hattie has said she wants to be a teacher, and I can not wait to see all she accomplishes with her career. Keep up the good work!
