4th Quarter Learning Plan Commitment Forms

Thank you for completing the 4th Quarter Learning Plan Commitment Form. All students and parents will receive Q4 Cohort information on Friday, February 26th via email.

Benchmark Assessments Q3

As we prepare for the return of in-person instruction during Quarter 4, MMS will be wrapping up its yearly Benchmarks. MMS will have Benchmark #3 the week of March 1st.

During this week, we’ll again be on a modified bell schedule so students can take Check-Ins at 1:00.

On Monday, March 1st — We will Take Social Studies
On Tuesday, March 2nd — We will take ELA
On Thursday, March 4th — We will take Math
On Friday, March 5th — We will take Science

Be on the lookout for further communications regarding testing as we move closer to those dates.

Mindful Mondays

On Mondays, 7-12 students will have an “off class” from live instruction based on a scheduled rotation. Your teachers will tell you when your class will be off. You need to attend all other classes on Mondays. During your off class, choose an activity from the menu to help you start your week off right!

This Monday, students will not log into their math class.

Relationships Lesson 1- See the Risk

During one class session this week, the MMS ELA department will facilitate MAWI Relationships Lesson 2- Create Up Friendships.

Last week, students completed Relationships Lesson 1- See the Risk, in their science class.

MMS is using the MAWI program to facilitate social and emotional lessons that are designed to help students build life-long coping skills.

It's February and it's also Black History Month. The Mooresville Public Library is highlighting amazing African Americans. Visit the library or check out our social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter or Facebook) to learn about everything we are offering, including online resources, programs and book suggestions.
