Hello Las Positas Lions,

A big thank you to our amazing guest readers who joined us this week in celebration of Read Across America! Your time and dedication to inspiring our students through the joy of reading are truly appreciated! 📖🎉

Let's also celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, honoring the achievements of women worldwide.

Don't forget to "spring forward" on March 10th as we adjust our clocks for Daylight Saving Time! 🕰️ And mark your calendars for the upcoming Spring Break, a time for some well-deserved relaxation and family fun! 🌸☀️

This month we will continue to focus on the IB Learner Profile 'Open-Minded'

Catch your child in the act of being open-minded. Add it to facebook, instagram, or X. Let us know in the office and we'll give your child a pride ticket.

Coming to school everyday is so important. We love recognizing our students who are here every day and on time. Maybe your child's class will be recognized next week?

School Appropriate~

Just a friendly reminder to keep everything school appropriate and according to the district parent handbook. Some of the key things are:

Bring your school supplies and come ready on time
Don't bring toys or anything unnecessary at school
Only School hats/beanies
Wear tennis shoes, not crocs or anything that may get them hurt during PE/recess

We had a great time during Kids Heart Challenge and are so proud of our students and our school! THANK YOU for your incredible generosity and support in making our community heart healthy while helping others. Click here for a BIG Thank You from a Heart Heroes across the US! YOU made a difference! $4,231 lifesaving donations raised, 6 finns missions, and 48 students registered for the program! THANK YOU! All post event gifts will be delivered to our school in a few weeks from now.
